  • Ok I've went seriously over the top, but please indulge me :)

    • I am completely debt free and I have a generous savings account, with separate saving accounts for each of my children to receive when they become adults.
    • I graduated from my honours degree in English Literature, specialising in Philosophy.
    • I am a bestselling author, with several pieces of my work currently being made into blockbuster movies.
    • I have a wonderful home, with a massive garden full of my home grown fruit & veg and pet chickens for laying eggs. I have a large coal fireplace in the living room and a spacious (but homely) kitchen, with a double stove and island in the middle. The sanctuary in which I write my masterpieces, is an organised mess. There are ideas scrawled on post it notes, covering every inch of wall space.
    • I have an amazing, loving husband, who has given me five beautiful children. 2 girls and 3 boys (the youngest two boys are twins). Due to the flexible nature of my career as an author, I am able to be a stay at home mum and write when it suits me.
    • I lovingly maintain my food blog, which gives me the incentive to always try out new food for family. I regularly involve the children in planning and cooking our meals. This in turn has made them adventurous and healthy eaters, who can tell the difference between good food and processed junk. We eat at the dinner table as a family every day.
    • I now make time for musical instruments that I had left behind at school. I have a drum kit, flute, saxophone and piano in our “music/play room”.
    • I keep fit by regularly working out and eating nutritiously. This allows me to splurge on the occasional indulgence. :)
    • I am very organised and make sure I don’t forget any family/friend’s birthdays. I make time for everyone, by throwing dinner parties and maintaining an active social life with my husband and our friends. Everyone close to me knows they can rely on me to look out for them and help them if they need it.
    • I remind myself constantly that I am content with my life due to having the love of people around me and by filling my life with enjoyment; as opposed to “keeping up with the Jones’” and believing that material possessions are any indication of success.

  • Okay:with a couple added
    1. I have a full time job which I enjoy and is paying me £50k a year.
    2. I am debt free
    3. Dad has had his op and is now able to get around and enjoy life.
    4. I am happily married to a loving, kind, faithful,Christian man.
    5. I am happy.
    6. I get up every morning full of hope rather than dread.
    7. My children are financially secure and in happy marriages.
    8. I am 10 stone.
    9. My house and garden have both reached a stage where only easy maintainance is required.
    10. I have won the lottery - in which case some of the above will be definitely sorted!

I'm sort of guessing where tomorrow will lead us. :)
  • Right then..

I am living a happy life with Mr S and one or two healthy happy kids (and the cat), in a nice house with a big garden, growing lots of fruit and veg. We have a few amazing holidays abroad every year.
I have no debt. I work on a few different projects which I love and which pay enough for a comfortable life - I work partly from home and partly in an office with friendly colleagues.
I have a PhD in Philosophy and some of my work includes writing about and teaching Philosophy.
I speak two or three languages well and some of my work involves translating.
    I have some writing published.
I can confidently speak to an audience of people about things I am passionate about.
I am fit and healthy, I run, swim and go hillwalking regularly.
I sing and play music as a hobby. I have a nice singing voice, I play the flute again, and we have a gorgeous grand piano in the house.
I am happy, confident and content.

    7. I have bought my motorbike back
But for now I have some siliconing to do - the bathroom not my boobs!...and the mortgage/ insurance to sort out.

sallyx - Hee hee feel free :D

In reality none of these things apply to my current situation - apart from the food blog and the fact that I work out to keep the fat off. Everything else is on my "to do" list ;) just reading it as if it's already happening is really motivating though - thanks so much for creating the challenge Sammy!
