Have I broken Ebay ticket selling rules?

Hi,
I won some tickets for the Horse of the Year Show but have put them on E-bay because I'm taking part in the 'Money for Nothing Challenge' on the DFW board.
Anyway, as I clicked to list the tickets I saw this: "Please note that all listings offering event tickets for resale on eBay.co.uk must specify the face value (excluding booking fees) of each ticket."
I don't actually physically have the tickets. They have to be picked up using my details from the venue and I'm going to disclose that info to the buyer upon payment.
Can someone just confirm that the I don't physically have to have the tickets with the value of them printed on the front and that what I've done is OK?
I did put the face value of the tickets in the listing and this is what I think they mean.
Many thanks,
Jxxx

Personally I think you should let any prospective buyer know BEFORE you sell the tickets that:
1 - you don't physically have them
2- They have to pick them up on the night of the event.
What happens if they ask for ID when they go to collect them?
The fact that they need to pick them up on the night is a vital part of this transaction and should be made very clear in your ad.
Any respectable eBayer would make it very plain BEFORE taking money from a buyer that they don't have the goods in hand.......anything less is dishonest imho.

I think it is obvious that since your read the conditions of sale and know you did not comply that you already know you are technically breaking the listing rules. Also like mike says any bidder does need to know in advance that you do not actually have the tickets as they might need to confirm with you and the venue whether a third party can collect the tickets. I won tickets to a concert last year via a radio phone in and was told (only when I asked) that I needed to take my winning letter along to the box office with a passport or photo license to collect my tickets..as it turned out they actually asked for neither but I suppose there was the chance that they might have.
I can see that there are a number of these tickets being sold..sold more successfully than others, realistically the auction is unlikely to be pulled. However, do make sure for your buyers sake that you tell them upfront the terms and conditions and how they need to collect the tickets. If you don't know then phone the venue and ask, don't leave that up to the buyer. The more you can do for the buyer, the more likely you are to achieve a good price, as it is there are wild variations in how much these tickets are selling for.
