I got a Dell E172 17" tft from these guys, its been great no problems with it at all. It was classed as refurbished but looks brand new and only cost me £75 INCLUDING DELIVERY!!!
Would definatly recommend0 -
I totally agree - E-buyer site may be the cheapest, but they have non-existent after-sales service and if there are any problems with your order, you have to sing for your money or for remedy. I ordered 2 USB cables for my printers, I received 2 separate parcels (so far so good!) but one contained the ordered USB cable and other contained something called an RF Cable for a PS2! On logging on to their site I then found that there are NO phone nos. to contact them on, only some messaging system called enotes. I logged a request for them to pick up the in-correct item delivered and replace it with the USB cable that I ordered. However, that was a month ago, and I am still watiing! So, moral of the story is if it is too good to be true, then it usually is and there usually is some catch. So BEWARE of ordering anything from E-buyer.0

Been using Ebuyer for several years and have spent thousands with them. If your "one off" experience with them is poor then I would say that is just bad luck. Overall I can only praise them for their range and prices. I would prefer them to remain unknown as an increase in their popularity will hit my business!
If you know you are buying at possibly the cheapest prices, I believe you can afford to allow them a little slack.0 -
Ebuyer also have a customer service announcement (see right on their front page) where they kind of apologise for the poor service.
Might be a load of BS, but at least it's good to see them acknowledging the problems!0 -
Ebuyer? Good Luck! This is the first time I have ever hear praise for their customer service.0

I've had no problems with e-buyer either, they replied to my e-notes quite swiftly and have always received stuff okay. Of course, if they did give me any gip I only live fifteen minutes from the office/depot so could 'pay them a visit'...

Regarding the 17in TFTs I think that they are all DSUB and therefore have to be used analogue ie. no use for a digital output.

having had a 17" TFT for a while, I have just bought a newer PC with a 19" screen & you would never think 2" would make such a difference (although the wife says different!).
Whilst size isn't everything, sometimes its wise to think big rather than bargain!Jertzy x0
