What I found best to get my question, aims & objectives was to do a spider/mindmap where you just write your 1st question down and then branch off loads of ideas generated and then the ideas generated by those ideas - in loads of circles branching off-Sort of Free Association and then the ideas generate the aims and objectives - IYSWIM????

My dissertation changed anyway over time as I wrote it and I had to develop the A's and O's more fully

i've got the outline of what i feel could be a very workable idea for a dissertation :j

am looking forward to it now i have a more concrete idea of where i want to go with it. going to email my tutor to discuss it, just hope he sees it as viable too :) (hope so - it's developing an essay i wrote for him this year that i did very well in)
