Different comparison websites and very different quotes

Hello there.
I used 3 comparison websites to get quotes to insure my car.
well, moneysaving expert and gocomapare gave cheapest:
-Admiral £588
-Elephant £590
COnfused.com gave cheapest:
-Admiral £488
-Elephant £490
I checked all my details, they seem the same.
I have retried with confused.com, and Asmiral is not there anymore, while ELephant is the first with £491.
How is possible all of that? Any clue?
I would not be happy to save some money now but then find a problem in the policy.
thanks

Financial products are sold under economies of scale as many retail products are. So, I would be surprised if they were all the same. Its a bit like expecting a tin of beans to cost the same at Tesco and the cornershop.
Also, in this case you would expect confused.com to be cheaper on Admiral and Elephant.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
