Car hire excess policy confusing

Please help, I'm totally confused! I have booked car hire excess, going through one of the search engines Martin recomends.
Moneymaxim quote: http://www.moneymaxim.co.uk/quote-engine-submit
which says that lots of things are covered, but when I buy the quote it says it covers £2000 excess, my brain is fried trying to make head or tail of the policy as it mentions some things are covered by annual policy and my cover is daily : https://www.questor-insurance-agents.co.uk/_templates/pyb/_docs/car-hire-policy.pdf
Thank you, FiFi

Just realised they have no contact phone number, all communications via email . Have emailed company for clarification, requested read receipt, now have to wait and see.
