Hi, Dont know what your budget is, but if you can find a good deal, and afford it, then the Sofitel Am Dom is in a perfect location for the markets- right by the big market by the cathredral, and good for public transport.

thanks for the reply just the location wanted near cathedral and market looks a lovley hotel but a bit to pricey just woundering how far is it from the airport to that area

There is a train from CGN airport to the city centre, the Pullman hotel is also very well located.

I stayed at the pullman hotel last year for the Christmas markets. Can confirm it is well located just a short walk from the main market at the dom and it's a lovely hotel.
