Unrealistic?????

5 adults, 2 children (hopefully under free child places) to Turkey in August 2011 all inclusive on a budget of £4,000. Are we being totally unrealistic or am I not looking in the right places???

Thats excellent, why can I not find as good a deal as that?!!

Our closest airport would be Cardiff, but I guess Bristol is also an opition.

Children would be 4 and 7 at time of travel, they would share with the 2 adults in one room, and the other 3 adults can share another room. But would it be cheaper to do 2 seperate bookings one child on each?????

Problem with AI in Turkey is they are mostly hotel rooms with a maximum occupancy of 3 - by doing 2 adults & 2 kids you are restricting the hotels you can have. Is it grandparents/close family you are going with? Would it be poss to do 1 kid per room ?

So its doable give or take a few quid - have a look for yourself on www.thomascook.com - play around with the options... Dates, airports, 2/3 rooms etc - See what you come up with!

If your brave (ie dont feel the need for a travel rep/traditional package) - You could try a dynamic package through someone like travelrepublic - Could probably get it even cheaper!

With both these options, check out the hotel first on tripadvisor before even thinking of booking!

And if you end up in Marmaris, might see you there :beer: just booked up 2 weeks for 4 of us in August for under £1k (but thats S/C & from Bristol!)
