We are spending the day in Lincoln on a Sunday. Can anyone suggest something to do with two children aged 13 and 8. (Not the castle)
Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!

Hi, well i live in Lincoln so hopefully i can give you a couple of ideas. I guess it depends on what you all like doing together, if the weather is nice then you could take a trip to hartsholme park which isnt too far out of the city centre and is perfect if you enjoy nature but dont want to be too secluded. Not too far from hartsholme park theres a farm which sells lovely ice cream, its called daisy made and is popular with both adults and kids.
If your wanting to stay more in the city then you could possibly visit the collection which is a museum which details the history of lincoln and best of all its free so it can keep you entertained for an hour or two. If your wanting to learn more about lincolns history then you could also visit the museum of lincolnshire life which is also free and is fun for kids although its not very big. Then theres always things like bowling and the cinema and you could also take a boat trip on the brayford (ive not been on it before so cannot vouch for what its like). Hope i have been some help to you.0
