Wanted to transfer a photo from my mobile to my Toshiba wifi laptop via bluetooth. Looked in the computer help and it says that in control panel under printers and other hardware it would have bluetooth but it's not there. Looked everywhere but can't find it. Can I download it or isn't my computer able to use bluetooth. Confused! Thanks for any help.

What is the full model number of your laptop?0

Sometimes these devices can be disabled in the BIOS. Once you have established that you have a bluetooth device and it's enabled, check that it shows in your device manager and the correct drivers are loaded. Sometimes there is a Bluetooth light on the case.
Once you have confirmed that transerring files is easy

Perhaps you need one of these.

Thanks for the replies so far and the link for the usb dongle. Can't go wrong at 1.49, saves having to find your phone's lead. The model is Toshiba Satellite M70-394. Cheers.0

Found a directory called Bluetooth Toshiba Stack. Don't know if that helps!0

You can't use Bluetooth without the Dongle. Once you plug it in, the Bluetooth stack will kick in.0

Donnie, uploaded Bluetooth monitor from Toshiba website now I can't find the stack. Have I messed it up completely? Oh how I wish I understood computers better.0
-
But why are you doing that when you don't even have the Dongle yet?0

On the Toshiba site under driver downloads it has "update your BIOS". Don't know what Bios is but should I do it? Thanks again for all your advice.0
