Private parking overrun, not car owner

Hi all
Just wondering if you can reassure me. I've have a look at other stuff about private car parks and I am a bit worried.
I went into town and parked in a private car park, free for two hours, after which a £80 charge is levied. Due to various delays I arrived back to my car about 3 minutes late. Am I likely to receive an invoice? I believe the car park is monitored by CCTV, are they that militant are about the timings?
I'm not usually one for civil disobedience, but £80 seems a bit steep, given that I've paid council parking fines that are about £30.
In anycase, I am not the car owner. I assume that any correspondence would be addressed to this person and they are not duty bound to reveal my identity?

...and even if they did it still wouldn't make any difference!
Don't worry, just ignore it.0 -
Thanks.
I normally avoid these 'free' car parks like the plague and use the cheapo council-run car parks but I was in a rush. It'll be just my luck that a 3 minute over-stay culminates in a £80 'fine'!
When you say 'ignore', do you mean ignore all correspondence totally, or should the registered owner state that they can prove they were at work 30 miles away?0 -

Ignore, as in do not contact them, and do not respond to any correspondence from them. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

What PPC do you work for ?
Really sad that you come here with such foolish advice, try IamatrollPPC.com so you can reminisce on how your scam USED to work
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
