Also, I bought the wireless keypad kit as well so you can arm/disarm the alarm with that instead of on the computer. (once again, this is totally wireless and uses two aa batteries).
Once you buy it, you end up spending a fortune on more accessories, its quite addictive!
If you want I can email you one of the emails with videos it sends so you can see the quality of the camera.0 -
The day/night camera comes in at a whopping £79.99 :eek:ac's lovechild0

Hi all,
I picked one of these up last thursday & to be honest I'm not impressed with the camera picture quality. Also there are some restrictions like it will only record a video clip upto a maximum of 60 seconds, then it must wait 60 seconds before it captures again ! So if someone did set the unit off and moved around the room for two minutes you only get the first 60 seconds. (you can set it to record 5 second clips, wait 5 seconds .... the wait must be equal to or greater than the recording time)
I have a wireless router which caused some interference (but you can tell the motorola router to use a different channel).
The pictures on the box give the impression of superb picture quality, so prepare to be disappointed.
But that's me being picky, I'll try to get my mac with an isight running btvpro to do something similar, but i'll miss the wireless bit!0 -
I haveto say, to be fair a wireless camera that I would put in a server room costs in the order of 300 pounds so this isn't so bad. Depends on features, etc but as a consumer product it strikes me as being worth the money.... and that's all I have to say about that.0
