Trains on easter sunday?

Does anyone know if trains run on easter sunday? trying to plan a trip for easter 2011 and wasnt sure if trains ran.

    Yes they do.

    Though it's a favourite time for engineering work so some routes will be disrupted. And some routes don't have a Sunday service at any time.
  • The planned timetable will usually be available up to 12 weeks beforehand. Sometimes this can be a bit late if not finalised fully by Network Rail.

    I expect you will get the info you want about 3months beforehand :)

    As dzug1 has said Bank Holiday is popular for Network Rail to do engineering projects so there is definitely potential for engineering works to occur.

    What route are you doing? I will see if I can find anything out at work.
