found this kit on the net however just need a bit of info.
the back of my VHS recorder it only has a scart on RF in and RF out, is that the audio in and out where the plugs go.

Actually i dont think it is looking at the plugs that need to go into the audio in and out, what i need is a scart lead that has the audio in and out connected to it so i can connect the audio in and out onto the scart lead, however, do not know what that bit is called.All the big powers they've silenced me. With the hardware you are looking at, you simply need to pick up the composite video & audio output(s) from the SCART socket and pump them in to the capture device.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0 -
All you need is a SCART to phono adapter.

The adapter above converts the input of a TV to phono, what the op needs is one that converts the output of a scart to phono, you can get them with a switch as seen in my post.
