Tech help needed with canon powershot A520.. (lost manual lol)

ok well I have a canon powershot A520 but about a month ago after switching off, it has stopped showing anything in the viewfinder screen before taking a shot. I cant find the manual any where to find the icons and sort out what is wrong it still shows the picture after it has been taken but not before, can any body help?
