I have my court date...

Hi guys,

I have my date with court on Wednesday :(, I can not see anything about taking bank statements etc, I am not claiming a reduced fee, is it just the completed forms I take to court? then persumably the OR will request the supporting documents?

Hi Gemlou, I have a tongue in cheek check list. The OR will send you later a list of what they will require......for court this is all you need.

Your three copies of 6.27 and 6.28 and your completed EX160 if applicable.
    Money for bankruptcy fees.
    Spare change for coffee machine.
Paper or magazine to read while waiting.
    Change for car park.
Optional a friend to chat to/hold hand.

And let's us know how you get on.

    Best wishes

  • Thanks guys :)

I am starting to worry abit, at least I have more time to get the bank statements together etc.

Now I just need to make it to Wednesday without going into early labour with my twins! I shall try to stay calm!

I'l post back with my experience!

  • try not to worry too much (easier said i know..) the receiver can easily sort any statements your missing and on the day in court i'll guarantee you come out thinking "huh...that it?"

  • I hope so :)

I am worried they will say no.

I don't know what is more scary the BR or the twin boys running riot! not forgetting my daughter aswell! busy times ahead!

This is why I am doing it now, my twins are high risk and I will need a c-section, my consultant has said be prepared for an early arrival anytime from now!. I really don't want creditors harrasing me with it all going on and trying to sort the BR while I am trying to get over the section and looking after everyone.

    Hope it runs smoothly.

When you speak to the OR's office at the court, mention that the twins arrival is soon - just so they know if you are out of contact for a while (just so you don't get a letter telling you off for non-coperation if you miss a telephone interview, etc)

BR wil be the fresh start that you need for you and your family.

Good luck with the twins :)
