PDF File - can I extract pictures

Hi
My supplier in US has sent me a catalogue in PDF Format, is there anyway I can extract the photos and convert to JPEG, each PDF Page has about 16 images

Open document in Acrobat reader, select Snapshot Tool, drag around the picture, picture is saved to clipboard.
Open graphics package eg Paint, select paste. Picture will appear, edit if you want and save as jpg.

there are thousands of them! *lol*
