Transfered money from my Paypal account to my bank account but can't find it!!!

Hi. Although I've had a paypal account for over a year I've always used the balance in it to pay for goods bought from Ebay. Last Saturday for the first time, I transfered some money into my bank account. I know it said to wait between 7-9 days, but when I checked my paypal account it said

Status: Completed

So I logged onto my bank account but the money isn't there :eek: . Does this normally happen (saying that the transaction is completed when it isn't) or should I get in touch with Paypal?? Thanks for your help.

That's normal, you'll find after a while that paypal do not hurry themselves getting payments through the UK banking system.

The money leaves paypal immediately, hence th ecompleted note, but then dilly dally's for at least a week en route via heaven knows where until it finally comes to rest in your bank account. I usually reckon if i transfer on a Saturday it will turn up the following Monday week, the 6th working day. You might be lucky and find it turns up Friday, the fifth working day though.

Thanks for the rapid reply Soo. I was worried when I found the completed status, and no money in my account hence my panic. I'll wait till Monday before checking again. Cheers.
