Transferring Favourites to Windows 7

Hi I have bought a windows 7 laptop. I have an XP desktop which I would like to keep. So far I have used a flash pen and transferred the favourites onto laptop. I can see them on the laptop but how do I put them into favourites

Or use the import function that comes with just about all browsers as standard.
