Lloyds tsb upgrade

I've had my basic bank account for 2 and 1/2 years. went into try and upgrade it to a current account today. was told i dont have any upgrade offers. spoke to the manager and asked me to come back at half 1 he was going to phone and appeal it for me. but no luck. i pay between £350 - £380 a week into my account and only able to lift £50 per day from a lloyds atm. would it be worth while trying another account else where? my 3 defaults are 5 years old and paid off, been so for 4 years. defaults were for a couple of £000s, and £5000.
I have a capital one credit builder cc had that for 2 years.
Thanks for any help Craig.

Does seem like a very low ATM limit and given the age of your defaults I would hope someone else wouldn't restrict you so much for withdrawing YOUR money!
Might be worth giving co-op a try? even if there isn't a branch near you, you can use a post office and they are generally quite 'grown up' about people with previous credit problems.
Good luck
