Help with getting back credit card charges that must go back several years

My husband has had a Cooperative bank Visa account for about 15 years. but no card for about 10, A few years back we where in financial difficulties and began paying off all our debts througha third party. Big mistake their charges where diabolical. So we took out a secured loan and paid every one off apart from the Credit Card one. There charges for late payment's and interest is dreadful. for every £10 he pays at least half of that goes back on in interest and it just isn't going down.The whole debt is now consititing of charges and interest. Is there anyway we can get them to scrub this debt or t get all the so-called late payment fee's re-funded.

Doubt very much they'll refund any charges. You could try asking for a rate reduction. If not, see if your able to move to another card.

Loyalty to banks is a thing of the past. They do not reward you for being loyal to them, nor should you feel as if because you've been with them 15 years you should stay with them.

Look at some 0% deal credit cards. See which one suits you best and go for it. They will more thank likely charge you a fee for transfering but you'll still save money with the 0% interest.
