Does anyone know if I can pay a Giro into Halifax bank through the post office, please?

you can pay money into a Halifax Account at the Post Office, I do this myself.0 -
You need a payin slip / BGC slip from Halifax to deposit cash at the Post Office.

No ... Halifax don't use those, they do everything electronically.
I'm sure that you can now do it - I think the Post Office link is out of date and it is a recent addition.
