Hi guy/girls, My PC has seen better days and after its just been taken away by a tech friends son and revamped and sorted after a mega virus. I still feel it has seen better days now, omg its so slow till it gets warmed up after a hour! and then it freezes half way. I have changes my emails as outlook ex is playing up and removed all my pics. So I am wanting to buy a new one. OMG I am so behind with the latest tech stuff. I feel about 90 lol. I have been reading lots and just feel like I now have spaghetti for a brain. So can some one please tell me where to start.
This is what I would be using it for
speed---got this far 2gb up wards for my price £400 + may get 3 at a bargain ?
I use it for email, surfing, photos and videos off my camcorder.
Ipod, righting letters..
Up and coming tech son who has just started a high tech high school. Have no idea to be truthful what he will need, but it wont involve gaming on mine lol.
Anyhelp would be great even a point in the right direction of a good site to read would be helpful.

Hi ruby
have a look on this site to see if anything grabs your fancy ...........
pccheckerdotcodotuk (weird, it's not letting me post a link for that site?)
Also have a search on http://www.hotukdeals.com/
I'm sure someone will come along and point out a specific system for you at a good deal.
If you have any questions or looking for further advice just come back and ask.
PS. Are you looing for another desktop or an laptop also if going for a desktop do you require a new monitor?0 -
If you think you can install windows yourself -you can get help here ,don't forget - have a look at this -
