Hi
For some time now when I click onto something to open a new page, the page just flashes but won't open. Sometimes it will open if I right click and go to new page, but more often I just can't access that info, an error message appears at the bottom of the page. Now my DD has the same thing at college with her lappie, which is a major problem as the page that refuses to open for her is her message system! The college has a system where each student receives messages from the tutors for their timetable additions/changes, so it's becoming desperate! I'm with ntl, but not sure about the college.
Does anyone have any idea, hope I've managed to explain that so someone understands! If anyone can help, could you explain simply please.
Thanks

Have you installed a popup blocker, either as part of a firewall, or as part of ie, try holding down the control button when you click on the link.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

if you used ctrl to override, you've probably got your IE popup blocker set to high, try changing it to medium

It is generally a good idea to have atleast 3 different browsers loaded on your PC e.g. IE, Firefox & Opera.
Many times you will find that due to the technical construction of a website / html page, or of your IE settings, the page does not open in IE (or takes ages), but works perfectly fine in other (standbye / backup) browsers.
