Wireless printing

Got new laptop todY AND IT has wireless networking to my pc upstairs with no problem.
How does one gt the same success with my Canon Pixma printer which is linked to the desktop?

    you need to set your printer up for sharing.

    On your desktop

    Start, control panel, printers.

    Right click on your printer that you want to share, then share this printer.

    On the laptop try to set up a new printer and it should find the one connected to your desktop.

    Just remember sometimes your firewall may block access so you may have to allow permision.
