Mobile connection to laptop

Sorry to be thick but i need to take my laptop in car and sometimes i need to connect my Sony VAIO TO A PHONE,still looking for NEW ONE to be honest.
How can i get web access without paYING THE EARTH!
Would any type of phone do,i currently own a NokiA 6330.
any views appreciated

  • do a search on google for something like.... connect nokia 6330 to the internet and im sure there will be sites which will give you a step by step guide on what settings you have to fiddle around with. (ive tried this with my phone) but this will depend if your phone is wap/gprs enabled and not all phones will work unfortunately.

    it will be quite slow because it depends on your wap/gprs connection which isnt the fastest. also charges will be depending on what your mobile phone operator charges you for wap/gprs....again which isnt relatively cheap unless you only plan to spend a few minutes on it here and there.
