in Credit cards
Hello everyone.
I'm James and at 29 thinking of buying a house in the next few years.
I like many in my early 20's got into a financial mess with loans, credit cards and everything. A point came when I wised up and started paying it back and trying to get things right again.
Slowly its getting better, but have recently looked at my files on all 3 credit reference agencies and all show different information on my credit records. I had got 2 defaults which show on 2, which I knew about. But experian(credit expert) give me a clean file which I find kind of strange.
Does anyone have any idea why this is? Just think its very misleading and I then bought my credit score and it comes up poor which I expect if the information on my credit was there.
Equafax and call credit seemed to be more accurate.

the reason is some companies dont always report to all 3 cra's, your equifax might be in a mess but the company only reports to equifax and not experian, so therefore your gleaming on experian. Some companies when searching for new applications only search certain credit references when you apply for new credit, a few years ago I had 3 defaults registered with equifax I also knew that citi card only searched experian I applied and got the card with a 1500 limit. there is a section on here somewhere whcich indicates who uses who. hope this has been of helpAqua card - £250 Limit up to date, Jd Williams £150 limit up to date, Argos store card £400 limit up to date, Next £300 limit up to date.:beer:0
