HMRC fee increase on service

Hello,
I have to register for Money Laundering Regulations in my new business. I downloaded the form from HMRC website last week and the price quoted and automatically entered for the registration was £90.00
On Friday, I recieved a letter from HMRC explaining that my application had been received but would not be processed untill I paid another £25.00 as this service cost had been increased.
Could someone please advise my statutory rights on this?
Sam Millard

    Welcome to the forums Sam.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question, but its not really a consumer issue is it?

Are there any business orientated forums that might be better suited?

Statutory rights and HMRC in the same breath... sounds tricky. ;)
  • Could be that I need to ask this in a different forum but as it is a 'purchase' of sorts, I wasn't too sure.
I will try the bizz section too.
    Thanks.
