Newbie question, posting restrictions

Hi, just tried to reply to a thread in the techie forum and it said I can't post links as a newbie, fair enough but I wasn't posting links!

I tried several short words and none would take... I posted elsewhere in another forum (general chit chat) and I could post a reply.

Any clues?

thanks

Hi, it was in the techie forum, a question asking who/why viruses are created

    I'd put a link but I can't lol

edit: just tried posting again and it's fine... must have been a glitch.

    thanks anyway
