    Just a little word of warning - I've been on one of these before and the food and drink on board is extortionate. A pint costs about 4 quid in the bar. So take your own!

    I've been on similar trips before. They basically plug all their other holidays while your there and hope you'll book another one. Also you don't spend much time off the boat so you will either have to eat sandwiches or buy their meals so you spend money there anyway.

  • You don't need to phone after booking - the email receipt is all you need apparently. Simply arrive at the dock two hours before departure and present the printout and that's it. I costed up the food based on breakfast and a la carte meals and it came to £140 so I guess that's how they make their money. I suppose a choppy and cold north sea in the winter months is another potential downer.
