Transferring Money from IF.COM Savings

I've had an IF.COM savings account for a couple of years and up to now the only transactions I've made have been 5 deposits. I now need to make a withdrawal and move some money to a Smile current account.

Just trying to work out how to do it. Is it through 'Money Transfer -> Make Payments'? I presume so. When I click 'Set Up a New Instruction' I get the 'YOUR PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS' screen, it says I'll be sent an authorisation code to my mobile, and to go to Personal Details to set the mobile no. This says I've got to phone them to set this up. Of course they're closed now.

Basically, is the above the corrent way to transfer out to my current account? I need to do this quite quickly, so don't want to waste too much time.

With most online accounts it's wise to set up your withdrawal method well before you need to use it.

If you make the call in the morning, I'd expect the transfer to go via BACS. That will take 3 working days, possibly plus 1 with it benig the first time you've withdrawn.

You could ask them about CHAPS - same day transfer. This will typically cost around £25 (not sure what IF charge, but I'd suspect it's similar).
