triker what a nightmare, poor you. so annoying, just feels like money down the drain, I remember from when my car got vandalised!

Have only done about one thing off my list today - stripping and washing the main bed. Very tired as didn't sleep well and in a lot of pain today.

Can I ask for 'baby stay put' vibes please? Because of pelvis issues and history have finally decided I want an elective section, can't cope with the thought of further wrecking my hips and pelvis. But I am not seeing consultant til thurs when I'll be almost 39 weeks so it all feels a bit last minute (my own midwife has been away for a month otherwise I think we'd have sorted it before). I know they could still do it if I went into labour but I want it to be written somewhere or documented as at the moment it's just my decision, though I have left message for midwife to call me back asap.

Rach vibes in abundance. I had an elective c-section to birth DD as, like DS, she was staying put, I had no contractions, Braxton-Hicks or real, and they were going to induce me as they had for DS. Well, his birth was 'eventful'; upshot of it was his Apgar score was VERY low and he had to be ressucitated, having had very low oxygen...I had a general anaesthetic so was unconscious, despite already having had a spinal block - there wasn't time to top it up!

So I decided I wasn't going through all that, and 'persuaded' them to let me have a section. They booked me in for the following Monday (this was the Thursday) no doubt hoping DD would put in an appearance in the meantime.
Anyway she didn't, elective it was and it was blissful. I was awake, she scored 10. That morning I read in the paper that a c-section is actually better for baby, as they are less stressed etc. And you stick to your guns. Your body, your baby, your choice.

Onestep - beautiful flowers beautifully arranged.

    Hi All

    Special hugs for Toots, xx

    Baby-stay-put vibes for Rach

    hope everything is ok Pigpen

Cant remember much else, I have a head like scrambled eggs today...

Went out with work yesterday, we had lunch and then a few drinks and then off to a birthday party for another work colleague in the evening. I paced myself and was good, but def havent been 100% today! :D

Have spent today on autopilot, going to football training, breathing fire, going to Mr A for the food shop with two littleys, steam came out of my ears several times, Im sure. They were read the riot act for demanding toys and then stropping cos they were told no! Brats!!!! Cue, rushed shop afterwards with two huffy little boys in tow and the basics chucked in the trolley then out asap before either of us screamed the place down!!

Came home, cleaned kitchen again, did WM & TD shuffle, cleared up some of the garage....didnt get round to actually chucking anything, but made more room by tidying up what is in there!!!

Cleaned out fridge, put shopping away. Fed kids, decluttered some popcorn...

I dont know what else, but i should really find a list.

TRIKER!!! - Im sorry...how could I forget!! I knew there was someone else!

That truly sucks hun, sorry - my first car was broken into three or fours times. I know how awful it is. I never claimed on my insurance. I went to the scrappies/breakers yard for new windows/dashboard (Once I had to replace the panel on the dashboard as they mangled it trying to get the stereo out!!!) I got a garage to fit the new parts for cash - it was much cheaper than claiming on the insurance anyway. Hugs pet xx

    xxxx

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining area DONE

Was up early this morning so made some broth then got the kitchen done.

Went out later to get DGGD3s birthday present its hard to believe she is is one next week. Been to see mum this afternoon and we managed to have a little walk before it got cold.

Off to have some of my broth and have a read of my book. Its the second one of three by Stieg Larsonn and they are good.

Fedup. I have been steaming my head and it helped. Also the honey and lemon is helping.
    wilf55 Hugs.
    Triker The thieving b******s. :mad:Hugs.
Hellyboo Hope your cough eases soon.
rach Baby stay put vibes winging their way to you.

Hugs for everyone specially Toots. Lady L. Diva and LW.

  • Bleurgh coff coff splutter bleurgh - looks like I had 2 hours for feeling better and it comes back full on. Looks like I need more rest and no flying. The belly pork I had to throw out after not smelling like it had gone off and then as I was about to cook it I gave it another very close sniff and finally smelt a gone off sniff.

My sense of smell and taste has gone for the last week so not sure what is ok and not unless it looks mouldy. Lets hope the casserole is ok.

Is my fault as I bought 2 lots of reduced meat yesterday when stocking up on a few bits then as felt so ill forgot to freeze them yesterday. Hoping the lamb casserole is ok, can't smell it otherwise!

Best wishes to Toots for the hozzy visit - hope all goes well for you my dear x

Rach - baby stay put vibes sent down to you speedily

Well, been to Ikea and got what I went , plus a few other bits!!! May make the trip a regular Saturday outing when the caravan goe into storage.....it is in Cardiff Bay(nice day out) and 45p for a hotdog, 45p for chips and 35p for ice cream is well worth the trip, in my opinion :)

Went to tesco on the way back for toilet rolls and a plastic wallt thing for DD and ended up spending nearly £80!!!!

Came home and put stuff away, got the spare spare bed down from the spare room for Mum to use for her visitors, mopped all downstairs and helped DD sort through her room after she had a friend round yesterday evening. Snacky food in the oven ready for X Factor and chilling time now xx
