Am I insured if my Registration plate has changed but my insurance does not know?

    Yes that is what I ought to have done but I got mixed up between Saturday and Sunday and the insurance was closed when I called them - my fault completely for sure.

    I did just that knowing that I have not modified the car which may have altered my premium and that both plates (old and replacement) were still legally assigned to me. I made the call to the insurance company as soon as they opened and the change has been noted and I have been charged £17 for the change on my policy.
