That light at the end is getting brighter

Hello all,

I don't post on here very often, but do take on the knowledge of others who voice there advice regularly. This has been a great help over the last few years to the point now where we are into our last year of our IVA. Just received our last review and although the monthly payments have gone up, we are now in a much better position to afford them. It really is exciting to know that we have 11 payments left and will then be debt free. In a time where many people are struggling it is great to know there are many people in the same situation who will hopefully be somewhat comforted by all your help on this forum.

In the meantime we have set ourselves a goal of trying to save a little to hopefully pay a deposit for a long and well earned family holiday late next year. Here's hoping!!

Thank you all and when the time comes, i.e last payment looming I will probably thank you all again.

Have a read on "iva . com" where people who have entered IVAs review the service provided.

Look for a provider that doesn't charge up front fees.

  • Hi again,

We used Blair Endersby. And as already stated, do your homework first. Now we too have heard bad stories about BE but tbh it's like everything in life, some people have a good experiences while others do not. Nothing is set in stone how each company will act, but as for us we don't really have anything bad to say about them.

Yes at times we have had to speak to them, and sometimes lengthy conversations to resolve issues, but in the last six months or so they have had a change round of personnel, so there were bound to be a few issues. I think the last time I spoke to them I mentioned maybe they should put on the staff room notice board the words 'COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY'. Whether they listened or not is a different matter.

As a last word do your research, ask and ask again for advice and I don't think you could go too wrong.

    Good luck:beer:
