Restuarant for a pre-theatre show meal

Can anyone recommend a restuarant in Cardiff for a meal before going on to a theatre show, beginning at 7.30pm?
I was thinking of the Medeira Restuarant at the bottom of Churchillway but they don't open until 6 and I thought this might be pushing it slightly.
