Advice for claiming charges from abbey.

Hi I basically want to claim charges from abbey. I have a student account with them and I am not entirely sure about the best way to go about it.

This is what I am thinking of doing. I have opened another student account and I am going to pay off the abbey overdraft and close the abbey account. This is where I am unsure..... If I close the account will I be still be able to claim the charges back? Or should I pay the overdraft back, leave it open and once I get the charges back then close the account? Either way I will still have my back covered just in case they threaten to close my account after I claim my charges back.

Thanks for any advice!

No need at all to close the account unless they insist in this. However, if you close it you still can to claim the charges back.
