I opened a cahoot savings account few days ago everything went fine until today i got an email saying.
"Thanks for your interest in a cahoot account. To have a cahoot account you need to be over 21 years old. We can't offer an account to anyone under this age.
Kind Regards
cahoot"
But on there website it clearly states you need to be 18 and over to open an account.
Any ideas what i can do regarding this.
This account suits you if:
You are 18 years of age or over ( Which I am)
You live permanently in the UK for tax purposes. We do not accept applications from the Channel Islands or
the Isle of Man
What you will need:
About 5 minutes to complete the application
Your salary details
The account number and sort code of your bank account, if you wish to fund your account from there

They have probably done you a favour - Cahoot accounts are not competitive.
You are better off going elsewhere..

Their part of Santander and their rates are shocking (unless you have a spare £750k).

Take a look at www.moneyfacts.co.uk/savings to find some alternatives. ING, Egg, Tesco and The AA may be suitable for you.0
