    I suggest you wait to find out what the offer price is. You can't really make a decision until then.

    However on first glance Betfair don't seem to be doing this to raise investment money for any specific investemment objective. It seems to be more for the benefit of existing shareholders. As such I see no particular reason why the company will grow substantially from the float and at first sight it doesn't seem particularly apealing.

    However these are just my first thoughts. I'll wait and see what the share price is and see what they say about their future plans before making my mind up.

    RM will be a bit messy because you cant really have competitive delivery without excluding those who would cost more. If its only for the benefit of present owners in both cases it sounds better to wait till after, theres been half a dozen of these type recently entering the top ftse companies and Ive not felt left out for waiting

    ie. ABG ESSR and that online grocer. In general market has been sideways anyway :undecided
