Contents Insurance for Professional House Share

Hi everyone,
I'm really sorry if there are threads on this already, I did try to find one but could only find stuff about student accomodation...
Basically I am a young professional living in London and share a house with other young professionals. Previously I have never bothered with insurance (!!!!) and got away with it. But I have just moved to a new house and feel that it might be wise to get contents insurance which I would like to also have away from home cover as I have a very expensive mobile phone.
So my question is what do other people in this situation do? Presumably student insurance is specifically for students but when I used GoCompare for my belongings within the house the cheapest quote was over £230 which seems a lot to me...
Any advice or links would be massively appreciated.

If you google ' young professionals personal possessions cover' you will find quite a few suppliers. It is up to each individual in a shared situation such as this, to arrange their own cover. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0
