Speaking of diesel focii (to save starting a new thread) - would a 07/57 1.8 TDCI ex-lease with starship miles (75k+) make a good buy or is a it a minefield of diesel pump/injector/DMF/etc issues?0

75k is starship miles? Dread to think what you would say about my 150k miles mondeo diesel or my old rover800 diesel
that had 230k miles when i bought it, Towed my caravan to cornwall and skegness, wales etc. for 3 years.
Was still taxed 2 years after i sold it, Wonder what the total mileage was on that? Just checked ..tax only expired in 2009.

Were either of those cars 3 years old at the time? I consider 25k a year plus to be pretty substatial mileage, especially by fleet drivers :rotfl:0
