Hmm not sure, my brain is hurting!! its been a long day. Surely then once your DD's have come out its payday within a day or two so you're in credit again until the next month DD's come out?DFW Total £21,800 to clear by Dec 2022

Alternatively you could address the actual problem of how to reduce the amount you're in the OD every month?

Could it work? Maybe - but not all companies will let you change your DD date, some will add the amount to the next payment or charge you pro-rata leaving you no better off at all...
Personally I think you're better off trying to reduce the amount you are in your OD by an acchievable amount each month
think of it as paying of a debt which you are...
