Good Quality PC Speakers - must look good too !!

As the title implies I am after some good quality PC speakers - however they must look good too.
Ideally a black glossy finish would be good but I do want something that's half decent.
Size wise, small is good too as they will be sitting on a desk with any sub (if I need to have one) most probably hidden underneath somewhere !!
I hope someone somewhere has some good ideas.
Many Thanks.

Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.

If looks are a priority (and you don't mind something without a glossy black finish), I don't think there are many better looking speakers than the Harmon Kardon Soundsticks (around £90), but it would help if you would tell us how much you want to spend.0

Apologies - should have had a budget !
Erm not really sure...... Can I get something half decent for £50 ??Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.0 -
You can get the JBL Creatures fairly cheap.. they looks excellent in gloss black and very good quality for the price.
Not everyone likes the design, but they make a good talking point

If you just need general speakers then i highly recommend Logitech Z5...yes yes yes i know there's no sub and they are only USB powered but i recently bought a pair for my desktop and they really are the dogs you-know-what. They also look stunning! They have been discontinued in UK but you can buy them on ebay for around £30 - it says refurbished but mine were as good as new.

I have the same JBL speakers that are pictured above. I would recommend them as well. Very good sound quality, visually... I would imagine it is a case of personal taste. I like them.

I would recommend Creative Gigaworks T20's0 -
Another vote for the JBL creatures - I have them myself, and think they are great.0
