hi all,
i will be going on holidays in a a few weeks, we bought our 3 yo dd a trunki, the tiger one, and was wondering if anyone travel using them with no problems at all ? in the description it says they are like 1 cm wider. i have seen people travelling with these before but now that my dd owns one and wants to take it, i need to re check it is ok.
our journey will be Liverpool- majorca.

Sorry but things have changed, Ryanair OFTEN check ALL luggage now. If it doesn't
fit it doesn't go or you SOMETIMES have the option to pay for it to go in the hold.
1 CM too big is still too big.
If you stick to the MAXIMUM sizes and weight that you booked for you'll be OK, see their web-site, your booking, their e-mail reminders to you and your boarding card for full details.
Even if you did 'get away with it' on the way out you could be denied boarding on the way back. If you want to risk being denied boarding with a crying child you could chance it. I've seen it happen.0 -
The Trunki is actually bigger by 0.5cm, not 1cm. Either way, it fits in Ryanair's cage so happy days. See also:We used Ryanair in August this year and the Trunki's were no problem. I was a bit concerned because it exceeded their limits but when I checked it in the actual crate it was absolutely fine.0

Size here http://www.trunki.co.uk/questions/
Some ryanair airports have the cardboard box, not the cage, so I doubt it would go in that.
Trunkis are very popular, ryanair should issue an official 0.5cm exception IMHO.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

easyJet increased their hand luggage size from 20 to 25cm so they are ok on easyJet.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Hi , going on holiday soon with Ryanair. Was just wondering whether you were okay with your trunki after all? Did it fit in the cage? Wanted to buy 2 for my children but not if they won't get in the cage!0

Yes. Trunkies fit into the Ryanair cage and are fine for carry on.0
