ipod

hi can someone please help, i got my ipod touch replaced 5 hours ago by apple, however on charging this "new" unit it stops at 90% charge and doesnt charge anymore! could anyone advice me on what i could do?

    I don't know about modern batteries, but it used to be that they would not show a full charge until they had been charged a few times.
    I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
  • With a battery replacement, I assume you got a new ipod touch?

    I have had my ipod mini's battery 'replaced' too by the apple store (i.e. given a new one). I also had various problems: ipod not charging at all twice; no sounding coming out apart from static sounding noise... So I'd advise you to take it back to the shops within your guarantee period for another ipod.
