Finely grate 20g-30g of chocolate per cup (you could grate in bulk if you don't have the time to do this every night), then stir into a little hot milk until the chocolate's melted, then stir this mixture into a cup of hot milk (skimmed is fine), add sugar to taste.
I make it like this and it's fantastic to drink. You can't go back to powder sachets once you've made it like this :cool:Here I go again on my own....0 -
I make up 'options' with skimmed milk and then stick it in the microwave. You're not adding that many calories and somehow skimmed milk seems to get creamier when microwaved than semi or full fat milk.0

I like Green and Blacks or Coco Direct, not sure of the nutritional values though.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I like the Amy Dacyzan way. A third of a cup of skimmed milk powder. two teaspoons heaped (bit greedy) of Green&Blacks organic cocoa, and either sugar or candarel hot water.Lovely - dont know the calorie content and dont care either!
If slimming though, I like the Options belgian chocolate with a bit of milk as said before.
Its a good store cupboard recipe too.
I had some Fairtrade sachets given to me and found them disgusting.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Thanks to all the replies, i will try the options one tonight with a bit of milk in it. I can't make my own by grating chocolate, as the chocolate wouldn't last till bedtime! Thanks again everyone.0

Try the Cadbury's Highlights - I add a splash of skim milk and it comes to 40 calories. I live on it as I have a sweet tooth and it keeps me off the choccies.0

I used to have the cadbury's highlights but have now just tried tesco's own healthy living chocolate and it's really nice I think it tasted a lot creamier than cadbury's, hopefully it will work out a bit cheaper too.0

The Options Belgian chocolate with a teaspoonful or two of Coffee Mate Latte Creations vanilla is wow! Mix as usual. You get a frothy top too.
Coffee Mate with Vanilla is good too but can only be obtained in the States:(An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
