We switched to BNS for our four digital phones at work a while ago and they have been taken over by Daisy. All okay so far.
So we discuss with a Daisy representative our newly-extended building and the requirement for an extra three phones. That's fine, say Daisy, just pay us thirty pounds per month for three digital phones and you'll have a nice extended system.
"Errm", say I, "I can just buy three cheap phones down at Argos* as I don't want to spend that on extra phones. And anyway, my IT whizz-kid friend told me that we only need analogue phones."
"Yes, but with digital they'll all match", comes the reply.
"Thanks, but no thanks", comes my reply.
Speaking to trusted Mr Whizz Kid, he shows me that we already have four digital lines on the central "Master" phone plus four analogue lines. All eight lines will work with normal analogue phones anyway so we don't actually need the three of the four digital phones we already have.
So BNS rented four digital phones to us when we need one plus three cheap analogues, and then Daisy have tried to rent us four more expensive digitals that we don't need.
Beware.
*Other telephone shops are also available.
