Hi.

I got the mrs an 06 astra 1.9 sri cdti the other day and the onbard computer that tells you how many miles you can expect on your current fuel was sat at 40 or so miles and declining so it went to the petrol station. threw £30 in and the range hasn't adjusted??? Any ideas.

Obviously its been turned on and off a few times since then but its not displaying the correct reading given the fuel on board. The fuel gauge needle is working fine btw.

Cheers

Press the left scroll wheel (on steering wheel) to access the trip computer, scroll to average consumption, hold it down until it goes to *.** (not -.--)

This resets all of the trip and it should start recording properly.
  • The Vauxhall units are crap and take ages to update. I once drove to Manchester and back with it showing 0, despite the actual fuel guage showing a quater of a tank left.

I'm sure this wont be a major problem for you on your 1.9 Vauxhall engine...

    Yep, sorted itself out.

Threw 30 quid in, reset the screen and voila...

    Cheers
