I've found some cheap web hosting - good for students!

This site is offering very cheap web hosting with no contracts, I've recommended this to my fellow students as the cheapest package starts at just 0.99p per month and offers really good features!

Interesting. Selling web hosting is trading I believe

I have a feeling NOMINET will be in touch about that. Appears to be a reseller for Heart - might as well go direct to: heartinternet.co.uk

I suspect that the OP would have been less enthusiastic if s/he had noticed that the cheapest deal was 99p plus VAT!

(And also not 0.99p, as erroneously stated...)
  • Yes its 99p they charge, not 0.99p(!) Sorry! :-/

Also their prices are actually cheaper than Heart Internets just did a quick comparison

Not enough people clicking 'spam' ?
  • Look at posting history, seems to be a genuine MSE post from someone who just doesn't post often.

I'd say that it's because it's not spam probably JasX, correct me if I'm wrong but this is a money saving forum and one of the benefits I've found personally from viewing it for nearly 2 years are the great links people share.
Just because I'm classed as a 'newbie' due to me not posting often doesn't mean I'm a 'spammer', I was attempting to contribute something to everyone that I thought was a good deal!

It wouldn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out that a spambot wouldn't be able to respond in a human way as in post#6???

I'm a little shocked by some of the responses, it's not a great advertisement for the forum as a whole if this is how members treat the 'newbies'... very clicky!
