JSA Claim Stopped!

So back I had a back to work session 18/08/2010. I turned up 10 minutes late (not my fault) the bus i got was late on coming which made me late, Theres no way i could have got a taxi or train.
Now since missing that i got a letter to go to another appointment on the 23/08/210 which i turned up on time so i completed the session, I answered questions to why i missed first appointment.
So today 11/09 I get my giro cheque with a letter attached explaining.
" We have looked at your claim again following a recent change" What change??
"We cannot pay your jobseeker's allowance from 9 september 2010"
"This is because we we recently told you that a decision would be made about a doubt"
""on wheather you refused or failed to carry out a jobseeker's direction. We have now decided that you failed to carry out the job seekers direction and that you did not have sufficiently good reasons for doing so, This decision applies from 9 september 2010 to 15 september 2010""
I am not quite sure what to do or what the dates are for. Any help be grateful.

Sounds like you are not being paid for that week where you were late.I turned up 10 minutes late (not my fault
Its not the job centres fault either!
There are few obligations you have to do to get your JSA, but signing on (on time) and seeking employment is the most important.
Can I suggest you get an earlier bus and use any extra time to look through the adverts in the JC. You can't afford to miss it.
You could appeal but seeing as you were late I can see little defence. Perhaps a crisis loan?
Also if you are late for work in the employment world, you can be docked wages, so its a life lesson to taken on the chin.

ok I understand where your coming from, But I cant go into town early or get earlier bus, Because i have a serious gambling problem and anytime im near town im just to tempted to go into amusements or bookmakers.0

Then you need to seek help to get over that.
Just some common sense, like just take enough money to get you in to the JC and back home again.
If worse comes to the worse and you lose your bus money and have to walk home!
Plus when you get a job (thats what your going to JC for) you might get a job in town and then what? Have you sought help?

So does that mean that if you were offered a job in town, you could not accept it?0

Then just take your bus fare. If you gamble it away you walk home, lesson learned.
If you need the JSA money to live on, your going to have to come up with something and get some help to control the gambling.
Have you tried http://www.gamcare.org.uk/ as there are lots of places to gamble and your on the internet which has its share too!

What a load of cobblers, you don't deserve handouts, just hope the extra £4 billion which should be £40 billion, reduces further the waste of public money on people like you, and then you would have to get a job, rather than if you can be bothered, or if you get up in time, or if whatever other excuse you decide to use, good on the DHSS  oh and that's not snide for your handout supports.0 -

You honestly think i want to sign on every 2 weeks, If i could afford not to sign on without a job i would. You have no idea how bad gambling can effect someones life as it has mine.
And im not a waste of space i dont sit around all day doing nothing, I go to college part time january. I am actually getting qualifications, i wouldn't say getting a HNC > HND is scum is basically what you called me.0
