Tenancy Renewal

Hi,
I currently have tenants for last 6 months - will I need to provide them with new 6 months agreement or will it run month to month basis?
I previously used property Hawk to download tenancy agreement but cannot find any renewal letters - Anywhere I can download renewal agreements?
Thanks

Tenancy will continue on a "Statutory Periodic" basis from the end of the initial fixed term, with the same conditions, unless either LL or T ends it. The "period" is how long the rent is payable for (usually monthly).
See

&
http://england.shelter.org.uk/__data/assets/pdf_file/0017/23390/Private_tenancies.pdf
..on page 6...If you have a fixed-term tenancy
and it comes to an end, you can
agree to sign an agreement for
another fixed term. If you do not, the
tenancy will still continue but as a
periodic tenancy, and your rights and
responsibilities remain the same. You
do not have to leave because the
fixed term has expired.

Did you buy this property on a residential mortgage and, if yes, have you sought Consent to Let from the mortgagor?
Have you registered the rental income via HMRC - I note that one of your previous posts asked "what counts as income?"
Did you provide the tenant with a copy of the Energy Performance Cert for the property?
Downloading a freebie AST off the net will not adequately protect you or your property. IIRC the one to which you refer contained some clauses which would probably not stand if challenged.
As you're having to ask a pretty basic question, my suggestion would be that you sign up to Tessa Shepperson's LandlordLaw site - tax deductible membership fee, access to tenancy agreements and much useful advice.( alternatively try the NLA/RLA)
